Brother Emile from the Taizé Community in France visited the UNL Lutheran Center in Lincoln on April 11, leading the Wednesday worship service. Around one-hundred people attended the service.
Brother Emile was helping to promote the Chicago Pilgrimage of Trust later this year.
A Taizé gathering that is part of the “Pilgrimage of Trust Across the Earth” will take place at DePaul University in Chicago May 25-28. Young adults between the ages of 18 and 35 are invited. For more information on the Chicago meeting, go to http://www.taize.fr/en_article12737.html.
In an email, Brother Emile expressed a “heartfelt thanks for your welcome,” to the Lutheran Center community.
